Kevin Lim is a photojournalist with The Straits Times. Besides shooting general news and sports for the newspaper locally, he has also documented the Malaysian Elections and Typhoon Haiyan’s aftermath in Tacloban in 2013, Indonesia’s legislative elections in 2014, the AirAsia QZ8501 disaster in 2015, and the Rio Olympic Games in 2016. His coverage of the 2018 Trump-Kim Summit in Singapore appeared in TIME, The Daily Telegraph, NBC and leading media outlets. He was named Journalist of the Year by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) for its English/Malay/Tamil Media Group in 2019.
