A shadowy pattern of mountains and grass is cast onto the wall of a bedroom in a multi-unit residential building in Seoul in May 2020 as sunlight passes through the windows at sunrise. With houses often packed closely together in South Korea’s capital, windows are covered with film to ensure privacy — all the more important when people are forced to spend more time at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
