Yong-Teck Lim is a photographer and editor, specializing in sport. A hardcore sports junkie, his love for sport originated from his competitive basketball background. Having picked up photography only in college, he honed his eye through covering school sports for local sporting news site, Red Sports. After graduating with a communication major at SUNY Buffalo’s offshore campus, he found work with Reuters as a multimedia producer, and later ventured into freelance work with several editorial agencies. A student of the 32nd Eddie Adams Workshop and an inaugural grantee of the Doug Pensinger Photographer Fund, he went on to intern with Getty Images in Los Angeles in spring 2019, and is now a contract photo editor with the agency.
