Born in 1989. Sumit Sanyal is a documentary photographer based in Kolkata, India. He holds a Diploma in Photography from National Academy of Photography in Kolkata and his works have been featured in several exhibitions and print media. Presently working as stringer for Anadolu Agency and photo contributor for SOPA Images, he has been shortlisted for Climate Visuals photography Award 2019 and was winner of the My Planet category(Single image) in The Andrei Stenin International Photo Contest 2020.
