Piyas Biswas is a visual journalist based in Dhaka, with a special interest in documentary photography. “To me, photography is a powerful tool of expression. My passion is clearly expressed in both Color and Black & White. I use my vision to document humanity, bringing awareness to issues throughout the world focusing on many conflict regions. I have done my photography graduation from Counter Foto (A Center for Visual Arts) in 2018, along with my academic graduation. After that, I have completed a Diploma in Visual Journalism at Ateneo de Manila University. Now I am working as a visual journalist nationally and internationally.”
