After the Woman, Life, freedom movement, a chain of poisonings began in girls' schools in Iran, which led to the poisoning of more than 5,000 girls students and the death of one of them. these chemical attacks were carried out on more than 230 schools in different cities in Iran. For months parents were afraid to send their children to school.

Ebrahim Alipoor was born in Kurdistan, Iran. It’s ten years he has been looking for ways in which can connect people. He chose photography as his main art major ten years ago since he believed that in third world countries, such as Iran, influencing people is very powerful, although difficult. Therefore, He has been searching for ways in which he could connect to and influence people in the utmost difficult circumstances and governmental limitations and censorships, and also with low levels of people’s artistic information.
[ PORTRAITS ] A single photograph of a person or group of people that increases the understanding and appreciation of the subject(s). Selfies or self-portraits are acceptable. Submissions do not have to adhere to documentary principles. Alternate processes and digital manipulations are allowed. Each participant is allowed to enter up to 5 images. The images must be taken in 2023.
