A colony of the Zoanthids glows under the ultraviolet flashlight with the backdrop of the Mumbai's skyline near Priyadarshani Park in Mumbai, India. Zoanthids are an order of cnidarians and commonly found in Coral reefs and it can be seen on the rocky shoes of Mumbai during the low tide. Also these colony of Zoanthids are just few meters away where the tunnel for the Coastal road construction are going on.

Pratik Chorge is a freelance photojournalist based in Mumbai, India. He was previously with Hindustan Times as a staff photojournalist for 6 years. He graduated Mumbai University in Applied Art field and later studied photojournalism at Udaan School of Photography, where he started his journey in photojournalism. He also has knowledge of flying drone which he uses to give a different perspective into my work. Apart from journalism, he also likes astrophotography and wildlife Photography.

Photographers are encouraged to explore the relationship between human and nature/environment. Studio scenes that are arranged by the photographer are not eligible. Each participant is allowed to enter up to 10 images. The images must be taken in 2022.
